EKG TECHNICIAN

EKG Program


Students will learn about the duties, responsibilities and work environment of an EKG technician as well as a Phlebotomy technician. Students will learn about the anatomy and physiology of the human heart, the anatomy and physiology of the cardiovascular system as well as EKG components and phlebotomy procedures. Students will also learn about common medical conditions concerning the heart and the cardiovascular system as a whole.


Students will master the following skill sets: preparing the patient for EKG and Phlebotomy procedures, applying and removing leads, performing live EKGs, performing live venipuncture techniques, entering patient data, and documenting completion. Upon completion of the program, students will be eligible to sit for the MedCA national certification exam.


OUR EKG COURSE IS ON FRIDAYS AND SATURDAYS FROM 8:30AM-11:30AM 

 THIS  COURSE IS A 12 WEEK COURSE AT $880.00
