EKG  Program

 

This program prepares students for a career as an EKG Technician by teaching essential cardiac concepts and EKG procedures. Students learn heart anatomy and physiology, common cardiovascular conditions, and EKG interpretation.

Hands-on training includes patient preparation, lead placement and removal, performing live EKGs, accurate data entry, and proper documentation.

Upon completion, students are eligible to sit for the MedCA national certification exam and pursue entry-level employment as a certified EKG Technician.

8 Week Program

Tuesday's & Thursday's

*Classes meet twice a week 

Mornings 9:30am - 11:15am​

Afternoons 12pm- 1:45pm​

Evenings 6pm-7:45pm

  • June 2 - July 30th​​

  • August 4 - October 1st

  • October 6 - December 3rd

Closed for Holiday Break the entire month of December

Certified EKG Technician

SEPARATE PROGRAM COST FOR:

RESUME BUILDING $35

CPR/BLS TRAINING $110

**REQUIREMENTS FOR ENROLLMENT INTO PROGRAM:

*GED or High School Diploma

*TB skin test

*Hepatitis B vaccine series (need proof of immunization record to start clinical lab procedures ) and TB vaccination.

(NOTE: IF YOU HAVE A PENDING HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED, YOU MAY STILL REGISTER FOR PROGRAM/CLASS SESSIONS).
